700 BOURKE STREET, MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

ARCHITECT - WOOD BAGOT

700 Bourke Street is the new headquarters building for NAB in Melbourne’s Docklands precinct. The project was developed by Cbus Property and was constructed by Brookfield Multiplex. The façade includes a number of pronounced “fissures”, comprising multiple sloped planes of façade, formed using unitised curtain wall components for integration in the general façade. The coloured triangular panels are formed using solid aluminium sheet, coated with an ultra-durable fluoro-polymer paint system.

BG&E Facades were engaged as façade consultant from schematic design stage through to construction.
