About the Role
BG&E’s Emergency Disaster Reconstruction team in Queensland (QLD) is well established, with a reputation as an industry leader for serving some of the most vulnerable in the community, after severe weather events occur.
As a result of the increasing number of severe weather events and BG&E’s growth in this space, our team in QLD are searching for civil engineers who are passionate about their profession and in particular, driven by helping communities to rebuild.
We are seeking civil engineers with a minimum of three years experience, that want to leverage their technical expertise, while working in an inclusive and dynamic environment, where the projects you work on have a substantial impact on the communities in South East QLD (SEQ). We have the projects to provide this opportunity and the leadership to help you in the next stage of your career.
About You (Qualifications, Skills and Experience)
You will be responsible for contributing to various projects, delivering innovative technical advice and serving as a proactive member of BG&E’s team in SEQ.
Successful candidates will:
- possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree;
- have a minimum of three years’ experience in civil engineering across a variety of projects and disciplines;
- have demonstrated experience in designing and managing projects;
- have experience working in software packages similar to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12D, etc;
- be comfortable with contributing to various projects at the same time, as well as adhering to client project delivery deadlines; and
- possess the ability to work well within a team environment.
