The project consists of a mix of retail, club, gymnasium and residential apartments over an open-air podium structure.  Below-ground parking for 1500 cars is provided on three basement levels.
Civil involvement consisted of stormwater design with detention tanks for the site, and road works to the adjoining property and local streets to accommodate anticipated traffic movements.


  • Extensive retention wall system with various geotechnical conditions across the site.
  • Post-tensioned concrete band beams spanning 8.7m throughout the basement with metal sheeting formwork for the slabs spanning 8.5m.
  • Large spanning beams up to 25m to the podium to allow truck manoeuvring in the loading dock at the retail level.
  • Numerous exit / entry points to the car parks created.
  • Crash barriers consisted of reinforced concrete and blockwork walls to car park levels and ramps.
  • Numerous transfer zones to support the residential towers above ground floor
  • Civil road works included extensive design and detailing to accommodate the requirements of the new development within the constraints of the existing conditions.
