Our Purpose
We believe that truly great engineering takes curiosity, bravery and trust, and is the key to creating extraordinary built environments.
Environmental, Social &
Governance (ESG)
BG&E’s ESG Committee is building on the outcomes which have been achieved by working with clients, employees, communities and suppliers, to harmoniously transition into the low-carbon economy.
To achieve this transition, we are moving beyond business-as-usual and accelerating our efforts in responding to the rapidly evolving climate crisis, societal changes, technological advances and natural resource constraints.
We are working hard to minimise the impacts of our operations, to design and develop long-term resilience, and to create lasting value for all stakeholders.
Our transition aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and our ambition to help humanity to live well, embrace equality, respect our planet and where possible, apply a regenerative approach.
Environmental
Environmental criteria refers to the energy utilised, waste discharged, and natural resources consumed to operate, and climate change.
Social

Governance
Governance criteria refers to the practices, controls and procedures which BG&E adopts to govern itself, make effective decisions, comply with laws, meet the needs of stakeholders and exercise transparency.
