George Agamalis

BIO

George joined BG&E in Sydney in 2016 and transferred to the London office in January 2022. With over 12 years of industry experience, he has been involved in project coordination and site supervision, as well as the concept and detailed design on a variety of buildings – including high rise, multi-storey residential, hotels, aged-care, heritage, adaptive reuse and commercial.

One of George’s favourite projects was Castle Residences in Sydney — a project that he enjoyed for its structurally and technically challenging nature. The building had a huge cantilever over an existing building, a bespoke façade, multiple transfer structures, and an eccentric architect.

Prior to joining BG&E, George worked at Meinhardt Group, Parkview Group and GHD in Sydney.

George holds a Bachelor’s in Civil and Structural Engineering, and a Bachelor’s in Commerce (Finance and Economics).
