David Farah has over two decades of experience in the design, documentation and delivery of city-shaping transport, bridge, and buildings projects, in Australia and overseas.
David is based in Brisbane and his primary remit includes leading BG&E’s business in Queensland (QLD), which he established 14 years ago and has grown to include over 100 employees and offices in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Townsville.
He works collectively with BG&E’s QLD team and clients, which includes leading contractors, tier-one engineering consultants, property developers, architects, and government agencies to create projects that make a real difference to people’s lives.
David is a civil engineer who started his career with CPB (formerly Leighton Contractors), before joining BG&E. He has a proven track record for ensuring design excellence is deployed, including on a number of marquee projects in Southeast QLD: Coomera Connector, Hope Island Station, Cross River Rail, Pacific Motorway – Exit 49 Interchange Upgrade, Ipswich Motorway Upgrade Rocklea-to-Darra Stage 1 and the state-of-the-art vertical campus, Inner City North Secondary College, among others.
He is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and is the Chair of the Safety Quality & Risk Committee and a pro-active participant in various QLD industry peak bodies.
