One of the first high-rise public secondary schools in the State, the Arthur Phillip High School, features flexible technology-rich learning spaces with adaptable/moveable furniture and room configurations, to enable collaborative and personalised learning, for up to 2,000 students.

The high school is located in the heart of Parramatta and is surrounded by neighbouring sporting facilities.

BG&E provided structural engineering, including tender bid design for the precast hollow-core floor slabs, engineering co-ordination, concrete floor plank and topping designs, design layout drawings, slab topping plan drawings, temporary works, details sheets and specification.

This multi-storey education facility is a wonderful example of refurbishment and adaptive reuse of a heritage building.
