205 North Quay

A new $275 million high-end commercial tower will be developed at 205 North Quay in central Brisbane, Queensland, which will comprise a public plaza, restaurant precinct, sky terraces, roof terrace, office space, and much more, across 38 storeys. A childcare centre and complete wellbeing level has also been proposed as part of the development, including a gym, wellness studio, shower facilities and open-air 25 metre lap pool. The commercial tower is targeting 6-Star Green Star and 5.5 Star NABERS sustainability ratings.

BG&E is providing the complete scope of works for the facade, including facade design and engineering, which feature gold elliptical sun-shading devices on the Northwest and Southeast sides.

According to the Development Application, 205 North Quay has been designed to represent, “What it should mean to live and work well in the subtropics…a place to retreat, to seek respite, make personal connections and link us with our cultural identity.”
