Designed by leading architects, Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp, the EY Centre is located at 200 George Street and is a splendid addition to Sydney’s skyline.
With its rich history, multitude of materials, unique timber and glass facade, high-performance sustainability elements and bespoke artwork – the centre provides a warm and inviting experience for tenants and visitors.
BG&E provided structural engineering services for the office tower, which included the following key features:
- pure tension transfer columns;
- floor plate geometry;
- excavation methodology;
- post-tensioned beams; and
- steel walers.
In keeping with Mirvac’s commitment to helping project owners and operators create innovative workplaces, the centre has been designed in consideration of the evolving ways that we work in Australia.
