This $75 million aged care facility is located in Randwick in the heart of Sydney’s Eastern suburbs. The Grove features 113 residential aged-care bedrooms and 79 luxury spacious retirement living apartments.

BG&E provided structural and civil engineering for the facility, which comprises four buildings ranging from seven to 10 storeys and a four-level basement. The building has piled perimeter retention walls, post-tensioned concrete floors, precast spandrel panels and an indoor concrete swimming pool.

Delivered by the assisted living provider St Basils, The Grove helps to address the needs of an ageing population and a desire for luxury aged-care facilities.

The Cove was completed in 2016.
