The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is one of the most diversified Middle Eastern economies and is heading in the right direction after the COVID-19-induced economic crisis. It is far less oil dependent than the surrounding countries and with substantial sovereign wealth holdings, the UAE has launched stimulus programmes to reinvigorate infrastructure projects.

BG&E has been present in the UAE since 2003 and the current conditions are enabling us to build on the strong reputation that we have forged over nearly 20 years, in the region.

Under the leadership of Dubai Manager, Simon Corderoy and Abu Dhabi Manager and Middle East Technical Director (Bridges), Francesco Presta, their dedicated teams provide structural, civil, bridge, façade and traffic engineering, and transport planning, materials durability and testing services, and construction engineering.

Aside from the UAE, we have also delivered projects for clients in Qatar and the Kingdoms of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, most notably in the Property and Transport sectors, with the focus on premium mixed-use, commercial and residential developments, as well as bridges, roads and rail infrastructure.
